1955 Ford Thunderbird A two owner southern California car since new, Purchased August 22 1980 with 25250 miles for $12,000.00. Still retains the original California Pink slip and Blue California License plates. 134th T bird produced. The car was given to Don Stewart for a complete restoration, Carl Morton rebuilt the Motor and transmission ($3785) in 1980 It is a matching number example and carries the 292 CU In Y block motor producing 198 Horse power, it is matched to a Fordomatic automatic transmission, this transmission was rebuilt again in 2004 due to a leak and we wanted it perfect ($934) w new torque converter. This car just had a MAJOR Service in March of 2020 w 1018 Miles at that time the Carb was rebuilt as well as all fluids, plugs, brake system and cooling the car is running very well, All receipts, manuals, books, car cover, toneu cover are in the trunk. It is and was a rust free car. The white soft top is excellent, top frame is also excellent, the top aligns perfect, the hard top will include a hard top cart to store when off the car. This is a Very early Thunderbird being number 134 of the assembly line. Paint, Chrome, Weather stripping, Interior and all power items such as radio and clock rebuilt all done at a cost of $24,000 Options: Ford-O-Matic drive, 4 way power seat, Wide white tires, Convertible top, Magic Aire heater, Radio, Rear fender skirts, Wire wheel covers, Engine dress up kit, windshield washers, Exterior rear view mirror and back up lights.
